Frequently Asked Questions
In the initial counselling session, your presence is the most crucial step. You don't need to have a clear agenda or know exactly what to discuss. Recognizing the need for help and showing up is enough. As your counsellor, my role isn't to provide the answers but to guide you through questions that help you uncover your own insights and solutions. This meeting is about starting a journey together, where I support you in navigating your thoughts and feelings, without the pressure of having everything figured out from the start.
Counselling sessions typically last 50 minutes to one hour. The duration may vary depending on the type of counselling and your specific needs.

The number of sessions varies based on individual needs and goals. Some clients find resolution in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term counselling. You and I will discuss and assess your progress regularly.
